Mystery Surrounds YouGot To Figure It Out
Finally, I am thankful. Even though it seems the fairy tale hit turbulance and broke apart mid-flight, I am thankful that INXS did the RS show. I'm thankful they picked JD Fortune. I'm thankful for all the shows we were able to take in. I'm thankful for all the great friends I made. I'm thanful for all of you and for the fun we always have together. I'm sad for JD and for INXS that this thing didn't last forever as it should have, but I'm still thankful for the memories. Thank you all for keeping me laughing. Thank you all for your humor and your beautiful souls that I've come to know because of this jurney. And thank you for still being here and still caring enough about our band to be angry with them, to be sad about this, to be happy they still exist (if only in our minds), and for still believing in the dreamer and his dream of making great music even if that music is not with INXS anymore.
No way he could fake the emotional bond, and I don't believe that the displays of affection from Our Band were fake either. I guess that's what's confused me. But, I'm still here dreaming the dream, and I do wish that both Our Band and Our Boy find what they are looking for and need. It really it too bad it couldn't be together.

I thought I'd told her this stuff, but evidently she either didn't listen or it just sunk in because she was ready to smack the original five around a bit for hurting "her JD." Yep, now he's "her JD."

Given they went on Rockstar to find a singer, who brought them some level of success, a lot of people are asking what the heck they are doing. I'm very grateful I got to hear JD sing Elegantly Wasted. Had to wait quite a while, but finally got to hear his take.

Rob Thomas Records With INXS by Paul Cashmere - July 27 2009 photo by Ros O'Gorman Rob Thomas has recorded an INXS classic with the band. Thomas, who is in Sydney at the moment, has put down lead vocal on 'Never Tear Us Apart' with INXS. INXS are in the process of recording a new album with special guest vocalists redoing their greatest hits. Rob has done INXS before. In fact, Rob's done 'Never Tear Us Apart' before. On the last Matchbox Twenty tour of Australia, INXS drummer Jon Farris joined Matchbox Twenty on drums to perform 'Never Tear Us Apart' and 'Don't Change'. There is no word when the new INXS album will be released.

The DJ asks how it is not having a frontman.. and Kirk says, no we do, but that since Michael died they are in the position to try different things. Weird. No?
