Q: Do I have to register a global account or can I register as a local account only.

A: You can register as a global account or as a local account. If you register as a global account you will show up as a member after your first post.

Q: Do I have to provide all the information requested to register?

A: You must provide a valid e-mail address to receive your confirmation e-mail that allows you to validate your account. You must provide a user name and password. If you do not wish to provide the rest of the information you can provide faulty information such as a birthday that makes you 99 years old when you are only 22.

Q: Can I use smileys, avators, and signatures?

A: At this point, you may use any of those things. All have been enabled.

Q: I don't know how to post pictures over here. I know how to use the emoticons but that is about it. Is that all you can do? Can you bold over here? I guess I think you need a thread that tells you how to do different stuff when posting.

A: When you post next, look at the line above the comment menu. It should say Formatting. Check the ezCodes area and you should see the bolding, italics, underlining on top of the comment area and you should see insert and several choices on the side of the comment area. To bold just press the B and a pop up box will show up and you can type whatever you want bolded there and then hit enter and it will code it for you so that it turns out right. To post a picture using photobucket you will copy the top box that appears under your photo, not the bottom one as on many other sites. Click on the button on the side of the comment section that says image, and paste the link into the box then hit enter. I only just figured out the easy way to do this tonight. I was trying to type in codes. I'll put this in the Q&A section as well. Thanks for pointing out we neede to add this.

Q: How do I change my title?

A: E-mail me or send a message to me through the board with your request for title change.

Q: How do I post a picture that can be clicked on as a link like fortune4me did in the Voting area?

A: That is simple.
1 Copy the link.
2. Click on link in the reply area.
3. Make sure you backspace the 'h t t p:'that automatically pops up when you click link.
4. Paste the link you copied.
5. Click ok.
6. type in one letter (you must type in something in order to establish the link.
7. Click ok.
8. Go back to the place you typed the letter and erase it in the actual post then with the curser left there click image and paste the image link there and hit okay.
9. Then you can submit the post and a picture will show as the post and you can click on the picture to then go to the link.

Holic, it would be fine to start a topic of your own. Just pick a place. I was thinking Art and Music would be a great place to open it. Just click new topic and start your own topic. Once you set it up, you can copy and paste your prior posts to get them into one area! Please let me know if you have any trouble. I'll try to walk you through it if you do. Once you get your topic started, I'll edit the main forum to put a scroll to alert people that your thread is now open. Thanks for all your great Pretty! You know we all love Pretty and you make good Pretty.

I think I did it LOL All of the ones I had in New Generation are moved over successfully. I just can't remember if I posted anything anywhere else that would fit there. How do I get rid of (or can I even) the picture that gets posted automatically next to the posts in the Art & Music thread -the ones inside my topic I mean... or change it to the one i used to have of JD I can get you the pic i'd like to have if that's possible??
