When signing up for the site there are two options. You may sign up for a global account or a local account. Both are free, however the global account will give you access to any ezBoard without having to sign up again. Many screen names are already chosen as global names so you may not be able to continue with a screen name you may have had before. There is a remedy for that. You may sign up as a local account and keep any screenname you have had before so long as a local member does not have that name already chosen. If you signed up under a different name globally because your chosen name was not available you may choose to sign up locally and continue your old name.

You can sign up as global and just have two accounts, but you can't switch! I tried!
