What can I say...they were AMAZING!!! Performing all their hits plus new stuff from Exile on Mainstream, Rob and the boys rocked it. He is such a dynamic performer, working the stage to perfection. There was a highlight to the show which came unexpectedly during the encore. They mentioned they had only learnt this song during their soundcheck that day, and Rob even had a cheat sheet. The song???? NEED YOU TONIGHT!!!!!! I kid you not!!!....I heard the first drum beats, and I turned to my hubby with a "NO WAY!!!!!" and off they went......if they made any mistakes I never noticed....it was at this point I noticed that the WHOLE stadium was up on their feet singing along......You can't tell me that INXS is dead and buried!!! I also have to mention they were supported fantastically by Aussie band Thirsty Merc.....great job guys!!!...check them out on myspace and their song 20 Good Reasons..... So enjoy the krack...I also have vids, but they are still on my hardrive....enjoy xx

It's so great that your Hubby enjoys going with you to all the concerts as well! I know what you mean about Thirsty Merc, they are a band that I've liked for quite a while now. Not sure who told me about them, it was either Meals or Marns, but I think they are very good. How are they as a live band?

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I was at this concert... tho i was a fair way up the back (in my photos u can hardly make out faces... lol!)... but it was amazing! Matchbox 20 have long been one of my fav bands, along with Thirsty Merc (i feel like i'm one of their groupies... i've seen the Merc more than any other band lol!). I remember saying when i found out Thirsty Merc was supporting, that the only thing that could make it better would be if INXS played too... then that's my top 3 bands together! I had friends go other nights and they had said that they played a Crowded House song as a tribute to us Aussies, then on the night i went, Rob was speaking about a great Aussie song.... and as soon as the drums started i was going 'OMG OMG OMG" lol u can hear it on my video =S my mate goes what Marns?? then the song kicked in... INXS - Need You Tonight... needless to say i went crazy and was in tears bahaha!
