I thought I would add some pics of an INXS tribute band that I have seen a few times. I caught them again on Saturday night. It was a double bill with the Australian U2 show, and they only did one set, but in our time of drought, it was fantastic to hear some INXS music live!!
I know people have different views on tribute bands, and while the lead singer isn't Michael, or JD for that matter, he and the rest of the band really do the music justice......and thats all that matters to me. Although he does try to channel Michael at times, but its not cheesy or in bad taste at all.
These guys are fantastic. They have been around for quite a while and put on an amazing show.
So here are some pics I took......sorry I wasn't able to catch any video. Next time I see them I definitely will!!
** One funny moment from Saturday nite, as we were leaving the lead singer, David, chased after us and caught us at the door. I felt a hand on my back and I thought, "oops busted for taking pics".
Convo went a bit like this...
D: Ladies....i noticed you taking some photos..
Me: ummmmm yes...*looking guilty*
D: And I think you may have got some good ones...
Me: I think we might have *proud as punch*
D: If i gave you my email address would you mind sending them to me??
Me:...*gobsmacked*...Not at all!!!
Needless to say, INXSIVE has been wowed by the lens of the KRACK NINJA!!!
This last pic he is belting out the final bit of Don't Change....just awesome!!!
