ok guys i'm just home so here goes.
part: 1
this show was worth seeing. well organized, lots of volunteers helping out and lots of great music. slowcoaster, steve bowers and dave gunning gave stand-out performances.the cd will be a great buy and contribute to a very worthy cause as well. fibbers is looking pretty good to be handling the promotion of new artists.
part: 2
OMFG. this man is one of a kind. when he stepped on stage you could feel the excitement level go up 200%. he looks good, pony-tail with hair falling around his face which he runs his hand thru in that sexy way that he has perfected. he had on a light mauve fitted shirt that is open showing his belly and belt buckle which appears to be rhinestone or maybe diamonds, not to big or flashy though. just right like JD himself.
he sang three songs. one was a new one written by him, one was co-written by he and steve bowers and pretty vegas. he re-arranged pv which i believe he had to do rather than try to copy the way he did it with INXS. smart move because although it was different it was totally cool. his own song was electrifying. you know how he pulls you into it slowly then explodes. this is sounding a bit more like having sex than singing a song but thats JD isn't it, he is such a sexual being. i don't know if this song is off his new cd but it is exactly what i was hoping for, kicks ass man.
JD was his usual self trying not to grab the limelight from his friends. at the end the whole cast joined him on stage and they sang "stand by me."
if this sounds like "in praise of JD" i can't help it, he's just so special. i'm still on a high from the show i guess.
well thats my story and i'm sticking to it. if i forgot something and if you knew me you would know i did, i'll tell you as it comes to me.
night all.
