Went to see Dan's band this weekend... they had two 1/2 hour sets... and were amazing!
I actually had 8 people show up, we yakked with Dan and Doug for a long time before and between sets. I bought Dough a bday drink... got some pix of them and with them...
Dan said he'd pose for me in the last set, and he was hamming it up but by then my battery was acting up so i didn't get the fully posed pics... was pretty funny at one point when i was ready i hollered his name and he started posing for me. lol
Doug n Dan came over to where we were sitting to talk for a while before their last set... I didn't know what to say to him though LOL so i told him to take a pic w/ me... but my friend put her big sunglasses on me and i'm pretty sure i look like a fool lol
After the last set Dan came over and thanked us for coming and gave me a big hugg and said how great it was to see me again etc.
He met our cousins for the first time (we're all 2nd cousins - our grandparents were all brothers/sisters)
i'll post pix soon... had a great time!
anyone in the winnipeg area should for sure check them out!!
