Well, this seems as good a place as any to start my recap...

here goes:

Kate and I left Fort Frances at 10am and got to Fargo, ND at about 3:00pm. With no problems in navigation, not too surprisingly LOL

On our way to the hotel, I noticed (though it was hard not to see) two tour buses parked on the side of the street. I told Kate that it was more than likely their bus... she made me go around the block again just to check them out (and take hilarious over the roof of the car while driving pictures etc).

We raced (as fast as you can without getting a ticket) to the hotel to change quickly, as our travel attire consisted of pj pants and sweatshirts - not the greatest stuff to be wearing when trying to meet the band LOL

We were changed and ready to go within 10 minutes and back at the site of the tour buses shortly thereafter. We parked in a lot next to the building and went in to take a look, no one was around and the restaurant was closed (we thought maybe they were grabbin a bite to eat first).

As we were heading back outside I told her to take a pic of me next to the bus, I was about to turn around when I saw Tommy walk around the corner and get onto the first bus, which proceeded to pull away. We looked at each other and without saying a word, ran towards the car and followed the buses, of course to the Fargodome, which is what we had suspected in the first place. We attempted to be sneaky and follow them in, but of course it "depends who you are" in order to get to where they were, driving underground and into the arena.
We raced back to the big parking lot and decided that just because the car couldn't go there, he didn't say we couldn't. We walked around the side of the building to where the buses went, but saw nothing (which is how we figured out they were inside LOL) We could hear music and what sounded like Lukas singing. Decided to walk around the front and go in. We walked in - door were open, walked in the next set of doors - no one said anything. We walked over and got a first hand look at the merchandise - awesome stuff (which I ended up buying most of LOL). Heard someone start singing again, walked past all these people and into the arena to see Magni doing a sound check. We sat around a while and then when we heard what sounded like Lukas' voice, took out the cameras and proceeded to take pictures of them doing sound check. We got videos of Bittersweet Symphony and Can't bring myself to light this fuse and at the end of that song (we had been there for about an hour n a half) this security guy (for the band itself) came running over to us, asked who we worked for and told us we weren't allowed in there, asked how we got in, to which we informed him that everyone had seen us, 4 security guards had said hello to us and saw us taking pictures and no one had said a thing. He made us delete our pictures (being the honest person that I am, I deleted them all - very upset because boy did Lukas hit some notes that I haven't heard before). Luckily, Kate had just switched her memory card to a new one so she regretfully deleted CBMTLTF and said her card was empty (which it was -- he just didn't know about the other one LOL) and we had to wait for security to come and escort us out.

(Pretty awesome - we got a sneak peek and a pre concert concert for just the 2 of us... come to think of it, Lukas was pointing at us during CBMTLTF as he sang... hmmm maybe he told them we were there LOL)

Fast forward to concert time (we went back to the hotel, changed etc and got to the dome for 7:00) Stood in line till doors opened and raced to the merch table to get our goods... JK hoodie, RSSN tshirt, JK cd x2, JK dogtag necklace, SN beanie etc... went down to our seats (Front Row!!!) and talked to the security guard for a while.

A little while later, I looked over towards the side of the stage and saw Toby standing there. I made my way through the growing crowd of front row goers, to in front of where he was standing and yelled his name and held my "Toby, Fargo is more than just a movie" sign up. He turned around and saw me and said (and I quote) "Hey, Lisa!! How's it going?" and started to walk towards me. Then the screams began, and he stopped and said, "I'll come and say hi to you later, okay?" I told him that was cool. He then pulled down his pants and mooned us LOL I have a pic of this, but will be keeping that one for myself - though I'm sure others got pics and they will be floating around soon. I asked Tommy if they were on first. He gave the thumbs up and said that they were. I went back to my spot just to the left of centre stage and waited for the show to start. Wondering when "later" was, since he never ended up coming over.

Juke Kartel came on stage and WOW.
I love them more now than I did before...they put on an amazing show!
Toby spotted me right as soon as he got on stage and smiled. He sang for a bit and then came right to the corner of the stage, motioned for my camera and I gladly passed it to him with shaky hands. He proceeded to take a picture of Eddie (which I will post in the near future) and one of Kate and I (where I look like a goof, but I was pumped LOL) and one of the audience which I think turned out to be the stage floor.
He passed the camera to the security guard and that was that. WOW the people around me were like how did you get him to do that? how come he took your camera, I had one and I was closer. I just smiled. Then a lil while later he came over to the far left of the stage sat down and hopped off the stage jumped up on the barricade right next to me (in front of Kate) and sang to us OMG OMG OMG... I guess that's what he meant by coming to say hi to me later, because he didn't leave the stage any other time. He then later came to the corner again and looked directly into my camera and sang to me, and waited until he saw that I had my picture before moving. It turned out awesome and you can definitely tell where he was looking! (Will also be posted later)
He said they were signing later, but I never ended up finding them, which really sucks, but I got TONS of great pictures and TONS n TONS of Toby lovin!! So I can't complain :O)


Dilana and Magni came on -- She was actually really good.... not much to say about her right now, she has her cd coming out on Feb 20th on I tunes and myspace (so check it out it should be pretty good). I snagged a few pics of them, as my battery was already 1/2 dead and I still had to wait for Supernova.

Panic Channel came out, Dave Navarro -shirtless of course- looked amazing, but was on the opposite side of the stage. I still managed to get some great pics of him though. Dilana came on and sang Highway to Hell with them as a finale for them. It was awesome.

And enter Supernova!! OMG OMG OMG
It was absolutely amazing and definitely worth the 4 month wait for the concert!
Lukas sounded great (and looked even better), Colt 45 was right in front of us and was posing and singing to Kate and I, Lukas came over and sang to us a few times, and Gilby came over and posed as well. Tommy came up to give out the Jaggermeister (I have no clue how to spell that)... Lukas sang Social Disgrace and dedicated it to all the Canadians in attendance. The evening seems like a blur... my camera died after the 2nd Supernova song so I was unable to take as many pictures as I would have liked, but I did get some great shots!! I tried to give Lukas the rosary, but was unsuccessful as he probably didn't even see me holding it out to him. I tried though every time he came close enough! LOL one of these days!

Anywho, overall the evening was absolutely amazing! I'm sure I'll think of more details in a while and will add them when I can. Right now I have to go pick up my pictures... that's gonna cost me a pretty penny (there are over 500 of them and I got doubles. YIKES) OH and some 8x10's of my fav toby and lukas ones... might pick a Navarro one and do that one too, we'll see.

When I get back I'll be starting the process of copyrighting my pics and I'll post them as soon as I can. Kate is going to let me use her pics later as well, seeing as how her camera battery lasted a lot longer than mine did.

Anywho, if you managed to read this entire thing... thanks for letting me share my night with you.

Toby -- Thanks so much, wish I could have got the opportunity to talk to you, tried to find you after the show but everyone was very top secret and wouldn't say anything about anything (which I don't really blame them) I'll email you some of the pics when I get them uploaded!

Lukas -- Thanks for the rockin show! I'll send you some of the pics I got also, I'm sure you'd like to see at least a few of them!

I'm runnin on 2 hours of sleep and I have a ton of stuff to do tomorrow.
